Cala Rebrand

At the start of 2026 we rebranded from CP Creatives to Cala.

Our company, which began with Henry and Ian, has developed steadily over time. What started as a team of two has grown into a team of eight, each bringing their own flavour to the work and how it is approached. However, over the past few years, it became clear that CP Creatives no longer fully reflected who we are or the nature of the work we were creating.

Transitioning to Cala was an intentional year long process. The rebrand was about more than simply changing our name and colour scheme. It was an opportunity to carefully consider where we are as a group, what inspires us, what challenges us, and how we want to continue evolving in the way we work and show up as Cala.

The word cala means cove in Spanish, a familiar word in Mallorca where one of our founders, Ian, lives. Calas are often beautiful, quiet and understated places. They are naturally shaped by their surroundings. Something in that gentle, grounded notion resonated with how we approach our work, so we also worked on a new brand identity to reflect this.

Part of the rebrand was creating a new visual identity. Our wordmark, colours, logo and other brand touchpoints aim to align with the Cala tone. Our brand colours peach and pine, for example, were chosen to sit alongside and complement the work we do. The choice felt supportive rather than too expressive.

Cala is still the same team, with the same ownership and commitment to thoughtful, high quality production. Acknowledging the substance of our work and bringing that with us into Cala is important.

We want to acknowledge the trust placed in us through our ongoing relationships. Much of Cala has been shaped through these collaborations, and that feels important to carry forward as we continue to develop.
