To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Corona named its 100 favourite beaches worldwide. Fistral Beach, on the Cornish coast, was among those chosen. Cala was commissioned to create a short documentary-style film and social content, told through the perspective of two local creators - including British Olympian Molly Caudery. The aim was to showcase the natural beauty and community spirit of the beach while reinforcing Corona’s authentic connection to beaches and the people who love them.

Working closely with Corona’s marketing team and the talent’s agents, we developed a creative concept and detailed production plan. Pre-production covered casting, wardrobe sourcing, remote scouting, itinerary planning, and script development. The shoot was completed over one full day with the featured talent, plus two additional half-days for supporting footage. Cala managed the entire production on the ground, with no brand representatives required on-site.

Cala delivered a main film, teaser trailer, social cutdowns, and a photography library of lifestyle and location imagery. The content was used across Corona’s social platforms to support the centennial campaign, strengthening the brand’s global connection to beaches and their communities.
